Privacy by design

How we protect your family.

Nolia is used by children, so we built it the way we'd want software built for our own: assume nothing, encrypt everything personal, and never let a child's data pay for anything.

Encrypted where it matters.

Children's names and photos are encrypted at field level (AES-256) — even inside our own database they're not lying around in plain text.

Deleted means deleted.

When you delete, we destroy the keys — crypto-shredding. There is no quiet archive.

A portal that can't overshare.

No chat with strangers, no public profiles, no social feed. Photo uploads are checked. It's a learning space, not a network.

Analytics never meet your child.

We measure how Nolia is doing without child data. No profiles, no ad pixels on family data, no exceptions.

Families stay separate.

Every family's data is isolated at database level — fail closed. A bug on our side shows you nothing of anyone else, and vice versa.

Even the small things.

Fonts are self-hosted (no calls to ad-tech CDNs), backups are encrypted daily, and our legal texts exist in a kid-friendly version, with a real complaints channel.

We built Nolia to align with Australia's Children's Online Privacy Code ahead of it becoming binding -->, and to GDPR standards for our European launch. Privacy questions get real replies.

Built for children. Yours included.
